Golf data has been tracked in many forms over the years, but the explosion of its coverage on the PGA Tour centers around when ShotLink was developed. From walking scorers with pencil and paper to 3D triangulation on greens, how data is collected and analyzed has become a big part of the PGA Tour's operations through its evolution. Don Wallace has seen almost all of the development. As Senior Director of ShotLink, he joins this episode to talk about the Tour's data collection then, now and in the future.
